A platform, not just a company

Shimu was founded to build bridges between capital, natural resources, entrepreneurship and sustainable community development.

Shimu is designed to connect opportunities across strategic sectors including mining, agriculture, investment and community empowerment. For its founder, business is not simply about generating profit — it is a vehicle for creating opportunity, connecting people and building long-term value.

The ambition is to establish Shimu as a trusted platform through which governments, investors, entrepreneurs, mining companies, agricultural enterprises and international partners can discover opportunities and develop mutually beneficial partnerships — across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.

"Africa does not only need investors. Africa needs partners who are prepared to build with Africa."

Shilekirwamuu Israel Mwasha is an entrepreneur, business leader and international investment facilitator whose mission is to build bridges between capital, natural resources, entrepreneurship and sustainable community development.

A major part of his entrepreneurial mission is facilitating connections between investors and mining opportunities across countries — bringing together international investors, mining entrepreneurs, governments, local business partners, technical professionals and community stakeholders around transparent, mutually beneficial relationships.

He is also deeply engaged in agriculture as a foundation for economic transformation, and in developing relationships with governments, ministries and development institutions on the belief that national policy direction and responsible private investment work best as partners, not in isolation.
